At Taylors Reclaims Ltd we stock large quantities of traditional handmade clay pamments and floorbricks as well as Victorian quarry tiles.Most commonly used in our area are Norfolk red pamments which are now becoming recognised throughout the country.To cater for the recent popularity of this type of flooring we also stock new handmade pamments as a cheaper alternative.

Handmade Pamments and floorbricks vary mainly due to the different type of local clay used when making them.Traditionally Cambridge Gault clay produced a buff to salmon pink colour unique to this area,Norfolk,Suffolk and,Lincolnshire pamments red to orange.
Victorian quarry tiles were machine-made and used much more widely throughout the country.They came in 3 colours of red ,black and buff and were often laid using a different combination of the colours and patterns.

Reclaimed clay flooring
Due to the qualities of clay pamments,floorbricks and quarries they are being reused more and more not only on conservation projects, but Barn conversions,kitchen floors,hallways, conservatories,pubs,restaurants especially with the introduction of underfloor heating.
